If you have never downloaded content ( games, ringtones, etc...) and not sure if your service provider will allow this, just try downloading from our 'free stuff page' first. Type the URL into your phones web browser and download one of our free, animated screensavers. If you are still not sure, then contact your service provider and ask this question;
"Can I download a Java application from a site, outside of the carrier portal ?"
They should be able to offer assistance.

Important Note.

Before ordering your ocean clock, please ensure that "wap push" is enabled on your cell phone. Depending on the make of your phone, you need to set the wap push setting to "On", "Allow all", "Always" or "Receive all". Here are some hints on where to locate this setting.

Nokia:
- Services > Settings > Service Inbox settings
- Messaging > Settings > Service Msg.

Motorola:
- Messages > Browser Msgs > Menu Button > Browser Msg Setup
- Messages > Browser Messages > Browser Msg Setup

LG:
- Internet > Push Messages > Receive

Samsung:
- Fun Box > WWW Services > Push Messages > Setting
- Fun Box > Wap Browser

Sony-Ericsson:
- Messaging > WAP Push > Allow Push
- Wap Services > Push Messages
- Messaging > Wap Push

If in doubt, please refer to your phone's manual or ask your phone's manufacturer for assistance.

I have an older phone, its a Sharp Gx15. Can I download the software and will it work on this phone ?,
Yes, as long as the phone is WAP / GPRS enabled and can run Java applications, you can download this software just like a Java game. Just make sure you can enter the URL and download our free screensavers, or contact your service provider first.

I have a 3g phone. Can I download the software

I click on the download link in the SMS, but nothing happens?
Have you checked whether you have an internet enabled phone? If you do (eg. you can visit a webpage) check first whether you can visit a page not run by your carrier (such as www.google.com). If not then contact your carrier to get access to the internet outside of the carrier portal. Once this has been activated try again.

I click on the download link in the SMS and get a 'server not found' (or similar) error message?
If you have checked and verified that you have an Internet enabled phone with access to non-portal sites (such as www.google.com) and the link still does not work, then contact us and we will investigate as to why the service is not working for you.

I downloaded the application, but it's really small and unreadable on my mobile phones screen?
Often (for some unknown reason) manufacturers lie about their phones screen resolution in the information they provide to our system when the phone connects. If you're Oceanometer looks extremely small or is cut off at the bottom and is unusable, contact us and tell us your phone model name and what is wrong with it, and we will send you a new Oceanometer that fits your screen size free of charge.

What Carrier do I need to be with to get a copy of Oceanometer?
If you are a subscriber to any of the Mobile Phone Carrier's other than Virgin Mobile Australia (provided you have a JAVA & Internet enabled phone) you can buy the Oceanometer. Unfortunately Virgin Mobile (Australia) has restrictions on downloading content from the internet. If you are not sure then just contact your service provider first. They will be able to offer assistance.

My download link has arrived, but I can't find it on my cell phone. Where is it?
The download link is in the body of a message that we sent to your cell phone. Depending on the make of your phone, this message will go to your text or WAP Push inbox, also known as a "Service Inbox", "Funbox", "Browser Message Inbox", or simply "Push Inbox".

Important notice: Never click "interrupt" during the download! Wait until the download is finished.
