Loaded with features
Designed for surfing, fishing and ocean activities, the Oceanometer software uses a combination of semidiurnal clocks to generate real time data and tide predictions until 2016. The interactive charts allow you to find a specific tide position. Quick and easy!
The Moonphase clock displays four phases of the lunar cycle and predicts the date of each moon. This clock also controls the pitch and amplitude of the tide charts, which automatically adjust to represent the change in Spring and Neap tides.
There is no need to enter longitude and latitude positions, just select the nearest location on the map, and save. The Oceanometer will display this location until another one is selected. The charts open using the current time, to provide a quick reference.
Custom Location. This is a bonus feature of the Oceanometer, and especially useful for secret surf spots or estuary fishing, when the tides might have other influences. Just enter a recent high tide time/date and save. The charts will track a fixed pattern.
Prediction mode. Ideal for planning a weekend surf, or when to throw in a line! Just enter the date and time, and the charts will adjust to show the required information. You can even scroll the timeline through the chart to find the right position.
There are a wide range of timezones, including Australian Eastern Standard, Pacific Standard, Greenwich Meridian and more. Just select the timezone relevant to your location and save. You can also control the daylight saving adjustment.
* To purchase the Oceanometer you are required to have an Internet and Java enabled mobile phone
